Image in post 43 uploaded from IPhone Mr Watkins using Opera browser.
I think it should work from any browser.

I can't upload any images either - I was trying to load a Print Screen image to show the problem with Chrome, but clearly it's the same issue. I would try another browser but I'm not sure what my password is!

Speaking as a born again Neanderthal all this stuff about browsers etc goes right over my head. I simply go out and take photos with my Argos camera then come home and plug it into my laptop. When I need to post one I simply go to the thread click insert image then up load file then eventually click to post. Can take ages but then again the forum doesn't have the billions that Facebook has to be so fast. Took these yesterday when the sun was shining.

Paul and Lew - could you both email me the files (info@dover.uk.com) you were attempting to upload so I can try them from here?
Lew - if you want to use another browser, there's a Forgotten Password link on the login page.

Trying from Firefox
The image was a screen shot from Google Chrome. No problem on any other browser.

Lew, can you check your encoding settings in Chrome, making sure it's on Auto detect?

Have tried that but it doesn't make any difference. The apostrophe and full stop I just typed still show up as boxes with a cross.

Functions that appear to be missing on iPhones in normal (portrait) orientation miraculously reappear when you rotate the phone into landscape view. First ensure your rotation lock is disabled though!

The layout of the website changes depending on the width of the screen, which is why more features appear when viewed in landscape.
Lew, you might want to take a look at this page and try some of the suggestions....

I have looked at the options suggested but they look as though they could cause other problems, so I might just use Firefox. Interestingly, the site works perfectly on my Hudl tablet which uses Google's Android OS.

I like the new looking forum and it is very good and easy to use. The Channel Traffic is also very interesting.

Yes I like the new look forum too. Looks bright and cheerful and professional - well done Chris

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Chris
If possible could dates be added to the search facility, so we do not have to trawl through all the listed posts trying to find the one we want. I have just given up trying to find the last one about the Market Square Fountain.
