Once I had got over my surprise at the complete difference to the layout, I find it much clearer.
I love it.

So far I have only looked at it on my mobile. I used to see the full desktop version on my iPhone but I find the mobile version of the new site very poor indeed with missing functionality. There's no option I can find to view the full site on a mobile. Even the smileys are missing.

You have to insert them manually.

I like the new clear modern format. It is attractive on both iPad and computer and also much clearer on my iPhone screen. As Peter mentioned the smileys are missing on the mobile version, but I can live with that!
P.S. To view the full site on your iPhone Peter 'click' the menu in the top right hand corner and the drop down menu will give you various options.

Do nothing and nothing happens.

Not impressed with the mobile version, that's when I can get it to open, on Samsung tablet the only thing I don't like is the lack of last poster to the thread. Time will tell for the rest of the site.

Hi everyone. I've still got more changes to make on the website, but this was the biggest. If you find anything isn't working then let me know and I'll fix it as soon as possible.
Peter, the smileys should now be back on the very poor mobile version. There may be a few other things that disappear on small screens but I'll try to move links and features around to fit them all in...what else do you not like about it?

Overall much cleaner and nicer layout Chris. Another thing on mobile version is a direct link back to forum threads.

The mobile problems will no doubt sort themselves out after the initial teething problems, I am more interested in how the various sections can be modified so we have one big effective forum that more people will read and post on.

Clicking the 'request desktop site' control on iPhone using Safari under iOS9 just brings up the mobile site again.

Using IOS9 in Safari to post this and finding no mobile problems Mr Garstin. I find it much improved from the old format.

Yes basic posts in Safari work fine. But I have now lost the ability to post pictures and my image posted earlier has vaporised.

I'm getting lots of missing characters (punctuation and numbers) appearing just a cross in a box. Is this an issue with Google Chrome?

Hi Lew, would you be able to send a screenshot of what you're seeing to

Still unable to reach desktop site on iPhone. Also facility to post images still missing from mobile site, which is odd as it was there for a while yesterday. Overall verdict: desktop site- excellent. Mobile site- pants.
