Here we go with unwanted political comments, what is it that prompts these silly remarks that have nothing to do with the subject matter being discussed.
Getting back to the subject, more bins are needed in some places and less in others.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Those bins outside the old Boston Guest House have at last be moved; there's just those outside 93/95 Folkestone Road and further up there's a couple of properties with excessive waste - does that mean more than the number of people living there ?
I would like to say that the Waste Services people have worked very hard to help get the road tidied up and because there are problems on top of the waste issues, various departments at DDC, Police and Social Services are all involved.
Many Landlords are as guilty as their tenants and this is my next quest.

i think waste services have done an excellent job, up to the legal people now to bring prosecutions where necessary.

the problem returns.
a few doors from me, wrong coloured bags and put out 13 days in advance of the next collection day.

yes roger however i have just looked out and bags together with loose rubbish have all gone.
no idea who took them.
incidentally as you probably know the old "boston" guest house now has industrial bins around the back and they are all overflowing after a few days.
we should have a forum competition on the number of people living there, to the nearest dozen would
be enough to win first prize.

They are all gross Brian !
I don't know who the Landlord is, but I believe he should be talked to. It does seem to me that there is too much waste/rubbish generated, for the amount of people you'd expect to be living there.
I think you are right Keith and I have been saying this for quite a while; DCC will prosecute if talking to people doesn't resolve the issue - so far it has resolved most issues, but the amount of waste is just too much and none of the people there have any intention, or even an idea, of what recycling means.
DDCs Private Renting Housing Manager needs an email.
A new pile of black and grey bags has appeared outside 227 Folkestone Road - each day it gets bigger.

roger;
as the council has spent a lot of time in this area they cannot say they have not been given time and advice.
the situation hasnt changed and prosecutions should follow

But in many places it has changed Keith - there are no bins on the pavements now, so that is an improvement.
There are stubborn people I agree and those need further action, including prosecution.
There is still too much waste and rubbish being generated and being left out.
