It will need a lot of different voting to change who runs KCC.

If there were a lot more voting there would a great deal less certainty.
2009:
Dover Town, turnout 29.45%
Dover West, turnout 41.95%
Dover North, turnout 43.43%

Perhaps because we care more?

Perhaps because there are more young in towns who do not bother.
Perhaps they move homes more often and do not bother getting registered.
Perhaps they have no idea where to vote.
Perhaps they think why bother nothing really changes whoever wins.
I posted mine this morning before I lost the thing.

And the District Simon.
The previous Leader of the Labour Group at County is now a District Councillor and lost his (County) seat a few years ago, he was getting around £40,000 pa for being the Labour Leader, so it mattered to him.

Some Ukip candidates could be BNP members, says leader Nigel Farage
Unsavoury candidates could be on ballot paper for May local elections.
Some of Ukip's candidates in next month's local elections could be BNP members or have
criminal records, party leader Nigel Farage has said..................
Surprised....?

Which does not say much for how he runs the party as their leader.

I'd guess that the number of labour MPs who used to belong to the Communist party or some far left socialist group is quite high too.

You're quite right Brian, not a single Pole was harmed by the Communists during April/May1940 at Katyn Forest, nor a single professional during the 10 year cultural revolution in China, nor a single Tibetan during the Chinese crackdown. Oh, and hang on - I forgot to mention that millions of Africans weren't harmed by Marxists during the 60s & 70s in places such as Egypt, Mozambique and Angola or that no Afghan was targeted by Soviets in the 1979 invasion...
Racism isn't just confined to Black/White...

Nothing to do with being racist:
we live in the Garden of England, but what's the point in having a garden if you're not allowed to work it?
We're not allowed to pick apples, we're not allowed to pack salads, we're not allowed to lift a carton of veg in a warehouse, we're not allowed to enter a factory.
Coalition and Labour are one and the same, they both live on Planet X.

just try apply for these low paid jobs and you get nowhere, they employ sudents, and eastern Europeans as a saurse of cheap labour, rather pay them minimum wages so there profits are much higer.

in a lot of cases these jobs are only advertised abroad or an overseas agency is contracted to provide cheap labour, nothing to do with brits not wanting to work.
