Oh well better late than never, in this case whoever sent it might as well not have bothered.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

even if i had got it in time i would have arrived just as the band was packing up if i had gone by the time of the start given.
bad job all round, there was no mention of the town council there or that there were further concerts planned.

If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
Its all on again this Sunday,
I hope to be able to post some photos from Barry O'Brien vice-chair later on.
The people in the photo from the radio are Stephen Kennett, Barry O'Brien (Vice chair) (well the back of his head) and Albert Thorp (chair) and family.
The DCR team also had a stand at the Walmer Picnic on Saturday as well with Barry and Albert, and Alberts family manning the stand. I was there also but with the Timewarp guys. Hoping to get to the bandstand this Sunday as it looked a good day.
By the way been dropping some leaflets in town today advertising DCR- if anyone would like some to display/give out please let us know.
I will get on here later and post the DCR schedule as programmes are now broadcast from the studios via our website from 7-9/10pm Weekdays and 4-10pm Weekends. We do need more volunteers though so please do get involved.
Sorry for the lack of publicity on the bandstand event, I will see if the guys can post on here when events occur. Sadly as I am no longer on the committee, although still a member and Website member I can let them know to get them on here!
