i love that word "falsehood", sounds like it would sit well with an old testament prophet.
i am picturing neil landing on the western heights in a chariot of fire and giving his enemies an almighty smiting.

I'm in the process of making my representation on the proposed development, Howard.
I'll send it to DDC Planning as indicated on the Planning Site Notice, with the due reference code.

Alex you can do it online,
http://planning.dover.gov.uk/online-applications/registrationWizard.do?action=start, register here first, it's much easier and if you do it online they can't ignore/edit/abridge your submission.

Thanks, Peter. But I'll send it as stated on the Planning Site Notice.
What would abridge mean, in this case?

Shorten, in order to 'clarify' the meaning. Long, rambling letters of objection received from the public are I believe sometimes abridged by council staff to make them easier for councillors to base their decisions on. Submit online and your viewpoint is immediately a matter of public record.

Oh! Well thanks for that, Peter!
I'll look into this, and examine the link sometime tonight.
Would be nice to see my representation on public record. Does that mean it will be visible to the public?
I might as well edit my article on Western Heights, if it helps Paul make his decision. I'll remove the reference to WHPS, but NOT the reference to the Sun rising over Dover Castle to the East and setting on Western Heights.
That is my perspective of events, as I see them on a daily basis!

Alexander, you need to drag yourself into the 21st century, while you have been posting on here 53 people have already put their objections on public record.

Why should changing your article help me make my decision????? I am not the one making incorrect statements with absolutely no basis or evidence behind it !!!
Been nice knowing you :)

14 comments Ray, 39 are Consultee Comments that are awaiting a response.

Are these comments representations, Ray?
The number 53 appeared, but only 9 comments were there, plus about four that were unavailable.
Confusing, this!

I know it was 14 but I thought 53 would give Alexander a bit more of a surprise
Alexander, read the link that Peter has put above and the one I put on an earlier page, all will be explained.

Nope, Ray!
The links are identical. It says 53 comments, but only nine are there, plus about 5 purported comments which, however, are classed as unavailable.
The same question is asked: are these comments representations?

I removed one set of wording, Keith, but shall be adding more information to the article regarding the protected statuses of the area.
But my above question remains unanswered:
Are the comments on the DDC link supplied by Ray and Peter, representations?
I was advised to post my representation on that link under the comments sector.
It says 53 comments, of which only 9 are there, plus about 5 that are, however, unavailable for reading.
Are these comments representations? And if they are, why are most of them not there, and others unavailable?

Sounds more like you should be asking of DDC Alexander?
I'd be interested to hear how the Dover Town Council meeting went last night - any reports from anyone?
Been nice knowing you :)

To make it brief, the Town Council approved the plans' in outline' but have asked for assurances on the work proposed on the Western Heights, in particular that promised for the Drop Redoubt. They have also expressed great concern that the 30% affordable housing rule appears to have been set aside and are asking DDC for clarification.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
