Guzz
Being associated with UKIP has nothing to do with bigotry, it's to do with standing up for what you believe in. Wearing a jacket in the colours of the Union Flag does not single you out as a member of any political party, it's to do with taking pride in your heritage and country and there is absolutely nothing political in that. I rather think that the bigotry comes from the unmentioned Councillor who prefers to snipe rather than voice an opinion aloud.
I had thought that this slagging off of the red, white and blue had been consigned to history and that taking pride in one's country had become 'cool' again. Seems not. When will our politicians learn that taking pride in oneself, one's district, one's region and one's country is much, much more than xenophobic posturing and that it's high time pride was viewed not as a deadly sin, but as a way of showcasing all that is good in this country? I thought the legacy of 2012 was made clear enough by the way the country shone last year.
Finally, on a personal note, if anyone thinks Guzzler a racist or a bigot, they clearly do not know the man.

True friends stab you in the front.
