To answer peter's question
I have been asked by political parties(not labour) to stand in the council elections, but whilst i could possibly win(never know) lol
I made the decision to stand down as a cllr after 25 long years, think i'v done my bit.
So no i won't be standing.
In reply to roger/howard
yes i will be continueing along the road(with others)to get people to protest/spoil ballot papers so just like alexaxanders ukip i recognise it is just that a protest, but unlike alexander i recognise labour will still get a majority as a party.
More locally the seat is very maginal and whilst locals are losing faith in charlie boy, labour has a lot to do to make up ground but also lots of labour voters will be spoiling papers/or not voting.
It will i'm aware help the very party i hope never gain any power anywhere(tories) but after a long thought out 25 year left wing socialist you have to make a stand sometimes
