Pleased to say that Largs Bay has indeed been sold to the Aussies so she has gone to a good home.
She was sold for £65m and the cost of her recent construction was £150m.
As one Australian observer put it: "At this price can we put in an offer for the rest of the RN"
The P&O ship in the background was of course sold to Dubai many years ago.
The Port of Dover in the photo is also up for grabs.
Seaports, airports, railways, electricity, gas, nuclear, water, etc, all our infrastructure flogged off.
We must be the first country in history to have sold itself, the harlot of the Western world.
The proceeds of all these sell-offs have been peed up against the wall by the bankers in London and we are now deeper in debt than at any time in our peacetime history and leaving a legacy of austerity to the next generation.
How did we get it all so wrong?
