Just to let you know that all the new play equipment has now been installed at Guston Green. We now have a large play tower with slide and swings, bee hive finger maze and a 7 piece adventure trail including monkey bars, bridge, scramble net and tyre stacks. All in natural wood theme. Funds were provided by Sita Trust for this part of the project. Guston Green has also been short listed by Fields in Trust for the 'most improved site' award at this years awards ceremony at Lords Cricket Ground, St Johns Wood. I will be attending the ceremony on Thursday night. Come and have a look at our Queen Elizabeth Field! :)
well done to tracey in getting her richly deserved award, additionally congratulations to all at capel for their efforts in making the lancaster road play area such a source of community pride.
Thanks Howard, I was absolutely thrilled to win and to have Guston Green recognised at the awards too. We even got a mention by Prince William too via a video link that he had made prior to the awards. Truly fantastic night.
