My father used to support 'the Mighty Arsenal' having been born in Woolwich (next to Woolwich Arsenal where he later worked and Hitler ,yes he took it personally, tried to bomb him and blew out an ear-drum).
When I was last at university I lived in Highbury near the 'new' Arsenal ground where the main problem was, on match days,parking of cars with most of the bastards leaping out of their 4*4 leaving only a rather dodgy Disabled Parking Permit in the windscreen.

8 November 2010 15:3279121The only difference at Gllingham Paul is that the local residents/council got there arse's in gear and put in residents parking in many of the roads close to the ground.

I forgot to tell him + I ring a door bell and asked if we were all right to park there because we were so near the ground, and yes it was OK. Keith thinks I am mad and would not get out of the car at first. - Keith Sansum1
