Clare, far from contradiction the article highlights the garbage put forward by those with vested interests in the issue. Read the article and see who wrote the report. That tells you all you need to know.
On the other hand find out a little about the other, sceptical or realist side and you will see the two are poles apart.
We are indeed entering a phase of cooling for the next few decades, or at least the likelyhood is for that event to take place.
Remember, also, that there has been no "global warming" whatsoever over the past fifteen years. This is fact although the die hard religionists in the climate movement tend to point to outlets such as the Daily mail as proof that it's all made up. A bit like shooting the messenger.
I mean take the "Independent" newspaper which is an oxymoron invented for that paper if ever there was one. The joker who wrote this amazing piece is presumably still employed as a writer though why is another matter.
