REFURBISHMENT OF MARKET SQUARE FOUNTAIN, DOVER
It was agreed:
(a) That the refurbishment of the water feature in the Market Square, Dover, as described as Option 4 of the report, be approved.
(b) That the refurbishment project be brought forward and progressed in a timely manner.
(c) That, until works commence in earnest and where circumstances permit, and following the usual winter shutdown period, the existing fountain be switched on.
(d) That the flower planters in the Market Square be re-planted to a high standard and in a timely manner in preparation for the Olympic and Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
(e) That the inclusion of the project within the Medium-Term Capital Plan be approved.
