spot on susan, i have looked at the one in folkestone many times including today.
not the available space in market square, we have the museum, library, bar elle and shops there.

Not seen the one in Folkestone but looks similar to these in Toronto. Seems unbelievable that Dover cannot keep something as simple as a fountain working and that there is some bod who delights in erecting fences and boxes around whatever fountains are left, having filled in the ones on the seafront. Must be related to the bod who managed to keep the Market Square devoid of flowers until after the first fortyfive cruise ships had visited.
