Absolutely, Paul! It's a dead-ringer for Burlington Arse too, isn't it?
What's not to like? Great idea.

with it all the way, the council can use the money that they have saved by getting rid of bins and not cleaning the river.

Marek#76 you summed it perfectly.
We have the bunting anyone prepared to add the fairy lights and maybe a bit of sparkle with some tinsel.

some imagination could be used here, fill it up with piranhas and put a sign up "paddling pool for chavs"

#70 "I understand the fencing around the fountain will come down next week", that was dated 16th July.
Nine days later the fencing has not come down but the bunting has gone up.

What's this then, fishing in the fountain?
No, it's the workmen removing the fencing and clearing the rubbish.

It was spouting this afternoon and looking great after all the kerfuffle.

Pity I didn't have my camera.

At last, Sue wasn't far off then

.
Now comes the sad bit, how long will it be spouting water before it is fenced off again and lying dormant.
