Once you have become a member you can apply to attend the AGM on 27th September, it would be good to get a load of angry Dovorians turn up.
There are three members from the Dover constituency elected to be on the Council of Governors, our current ones are Liz Rath, Laurence Shaw and Stephen Collyer. You can let them know your views by writing our emailing with the heading fao *** (I shall be sending my views to each of them) or with an obvious Dover title, details below.

"Members are able to elect representatives onto the Council of Governors which holds the Trust's Board of Directors to account."
The Board of Directors works closely with the Council of Governors to ensure that it understands the views of Governors, and through them, the views of members.
The Council of Governors has a number of statutory duties, including appointing the Chairman and Non Executive Directors and ratifying the appointment of the Chief Executive. The Council of Governors also determines the remuneration and terms and conditions of the Chairman and Non Executive Directors, receives the Trust's Annual report and accounts and auditor's report, and appoints the Trust's external auditor. The public and staff members of the Council of Governors are elected from the Foundation Trust membership by the members and serve for terms of office between two and three years.
