I took Sue's comment as a good positive hint and if the papers have not been signed not much else she could have said.
edit. David wanted an official comment and got one.

The last time I posted a comment about good news on DTIZ I got slated, so I didn't make a comment this time.

Without trying to defend anyone, you will know from your own attempts to get a market in Dover there are challenges
just the same as there are for councils.
That said, cllrs sometimes don't help themselves with such comments.
We all hope that the DITZ comes to something very soon
Of course there are challenges Keith, they are there to be overcome which is what we've done with the market and will continue to with other initiatives.
The DTIZ is crucial to the regeneration of the town, the Chairman of DDC has taken to lighthearted quips about it on a public forum, that tells me all I need to know. They should stick to emptying bins and opening Village fetes if thats their attitude.

as far as i can ascertain here both david and sue are talking in riddles, the rest of us are wondering what the big secret is.

Don't think thats fair Howard, the Town Team has excommunicated the Express for compromising confidentiality, I've heard very positive rumours but like the Ramada situation its unfair and unwise to speculate.
I was hoping one our regulars at DDC might like to put some meat on the bone, instead we got childish gibberish.
Inward investors must cringe when they see who they're dealing with.

i fully agree with you actually david, any breach of confidence is a betrayal of trust. judging by comments that you and sue have made it seems that something good is coming to fruition, fingers crossed by me.

Yes Sue it seems you do have a strange sense of humour.
This has been my gripe for years:
Is the priority of DDC to empty bins and clear drains or to regenerate the town?
I think you've answered my question and helped to explain why Dover is dying on its backside.

And why don't you Roger?
Councillors will be judged on what they do not what they say.

I've heard it all now, local councillors asking for respect.
My word these people need to get out of their ivory towers, they should ask themselves why turnout in elections is so low.
