An enjoyable day had in Dover today, met some really nice french-canadians from Quebec where I managed to practise my rusty french and they told me that they really liked the town and commented how helpful everyone was (even said that cllr John was very helpful) Go Dover!
A rainy day in Dover today but my day has been made!!!! I have just seen the photos of Jacqui's gorgeous grandaughter Tiegan, a lovely smile to go with her lovely name
This is a longer distance shot of the wild flowers growing on the cliffs across the main road. The Garden of England. Lovely isnt it..they just happen to sprout up that way every year with nobody trimming, cutting, snipping, or fertilising.
Had a lovely day in Dover today. Firstly met Brian Dixon catching his bus up to Aycliffe and later bumped into Howard in the Market Square hastily making his way to the seafront to report and take photos of the kerfuffle going on at the seafront. (methinks he is looking for a job with the D. Exp.)
Later had a few pints in the Funky Monkey with a few more old timers, borrowed a couple of books from the library and wended my way home and sat in my back garden to catch the last rays of the sun listening to my Wishing Well water feature splashing away.
Yesterday, I had a very busy morning at work taking more money than usual with help from a donation from Terry that sold within an hour and could have been sold to two other disappointed people. Thank you very much Terry.SMILE Y:thumbsup

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Shure, Howard has definitely not missed his vocation at all, at all, at all, he's got the best, on the pulse, daily internet site Doverforum, now he wouldn't be wanting anything else
