Beautiful daisies Paul, I love them. Noticed there are loads of them along the Thanet bypass too. Such pretty flowers. I wonder if we'll see any fields of poppies this year, anyone know? On my way up the M2 recently I'm sure I saw a field of them but I can't remember where. Will look out next time I go up. Wild flowers are so lovely and there for everyone.

Yes lovely pictures again Paul... yes great daisies everywhere right now and also those wild purple or mauve flowers are everywhere at the moment, also gorgeous too. All happening naturally.
Good idea Colette about keeping this thread going especially for the summer.

I think many transatlantic flights to N. Europe have been re-routed south to avoid the ash cloud.

Did anyone see the jets that screamed over Dover this morning, I only heard them as I was busy serving. I would guess there were two of them going by the noise.

Yes, I saw them, heard them and almost touched them as they powered over my head and skimmed the roof, Wayhey! How exciting they were too
I was in the garden and PaulB was on the phone to me at the time and he even jumped with the noise of them

Had a lovely day out in Dover today. Daughter Briony and I went to a super medieval fair in the town and then on to our wonderfull Dover Castle for a tour of the Medieval tunnels. We had a very knowledgeable guide called Scott who was a very pleasant chap and nothing was too much for him. We fired off all sort of questions and he patiently answered all. Indeed all the staff up there were very helpful so a very pleasant day out, even the rain didn't matter, we thoroughly enjoyed it

I think the name is from Tegwen of Welsh origin that means 'fair' and 'blessed' which certainly suits the super baby above. Congrats to all.
