13:1475735Keith, it's fairly obvious that you are a Dovorian. I've never met anyone who supported Dover Athletic by choice!

13:2275736Er, excuse me! Don't diss the Mighty Whites!
Like Keith I am a Dovorian and support the mighty DAFC - and no-one else. There are a lot of non-Dovorians (ie: Dealites etc) who do as well.
I can think of several Scousers, Mancs and Geordies with consummate good taste who also follow Dover Athletic (a proper football club) home and away. We've even got supporters in Holland!
Allez Douvres. So there!

13:5975737Bob;
It's a shame you choose to ridicule the Whites, and I find that quite sad.
Yes I support my local Town football club and continue to do so.
And look to the town club going on to even bigger things.
Further, yes i'm a proud Dovorian, like many I get frustrated but want to see a better Dover.

11:0575866I feel at last that Dover is on the move and for the better let us hope it will stay that way,to find that Dover is looking up at the time of alot of cuts in funding is good news and we must get behind it by spending and stop talking negative about the town,yes I have done it myself in the pass.I was at ameeting in Ashford (WH) with the NHS and after that meeting I was talking to the Chairman about the new Hospital at Dover,I will post later on about that and the meeting to.

16:3375905Since the days of Fred Durrant, Howard.
My era was when Bill Swain was a good centre half, Barry Rowan great on the wing and Alan[Jonah]Jones was leading the line.

17:0475909Bill Swain now we are talking about real football this man was well over 6ft tall and about 14stone nothing got by him.We also had a centre forward called O,MARIA or bones as we called him but good in the air and again about 6ft+ And the Goal keeper still about in Dover today Mr Green and A Mr Bill Price and he again was about 6ft6 tall and a great keeper you can still seee him about the town on his bike each day going along the seafront,you can not miss him his saddle is very high from the bike and he has a small cap on.

if he is 6'6" tall, has a high saddle on his bike and wears a hat, he must risk decapitation going through the subway.
