Maybe we can have the result of today's match and any other future information about our local team here.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Good news. Ricky Modeste is a good and hard working player.

That is a shame but the cold, wet and Christmas shopping would not have helped.

Eeny, meeny, miny, moe... ah! you're the football thread for this. Anyone with access to BT Sport (not me, I'm afraid), and the inclination, will be able to watch the team away at Barnet live this lunchtime, KO 1235. See the strides made by Hessenthaler as the mighty Whites turn over yet another big ex-league club:

Glad I saved the £27 for train fares and £20 entrance, and don't have BT Sport.
Hopefully Boxing Day will be better.

No surprises though: the team do tend to look better on the radio.

Dover home (3pm) to bottom club Maidstone today
Hoping to pick up 3 points after the disappointment at Barnet in last game

After a lengthy delay getting into the ground because, amazingly, the turnstile operators ran out of loose change Dover were rewarded with a really good 3-1 win yesterday against fellow strugglers, Maidstone. The well deserved 3 points lifts Dover out of the relegation zone. The first half was a bit scrappy but the manager replaced our two most ineffective players at half time, mixed things up a little and Dover steamrollered them in the second half.
Almost 2000 fans made the effort to leave the cold Turkey at home and get away from their families for a few hours and witnessed a good effort from the team and a really good atmosphere.
Onwards and upwards!

Great result against the leaders
Could even have got the 3 points if we had scored from. The penalty and other chances
But we'll worth a point

We definitely need a different penalty taker.....a good point against the best team in the league though.

Not so long ago we would have said another thrashing against orient
But I think Dover have now turned the corner
Still need a little bit of work on team but a point against high flyers
And competing and being as good as them
Onwards and upwards
