Admittedly the very fist game but on that showing it’s going to be a long hard season. God knows where the goals are going to come from. The penalty “miss” was one of the worst I can ever recall seeing at Crabble, it was more like a back pass to the keeper!
Having said that, overall we probably deserved a draw at the very least, but in football as we all know you don’t always get what you deserve. Be interesting to see how the team responds at Bromley this coming Tuesday.
The ground looks great by the way, the pitch superb, just hope it doesn’t eventually become the best ground in Conference South!

Maybe if Jamie Allen's sweet strike early in the first half had gone in instead of hitting the crossbar things might have been different. Aside from that I thought Dover didn't look threatening in attack until too late in the game when Daniel came on and added some pace. Wrexham were quick to close us down, though, and defended comfortably when they needed to. As for the penalty, I can only imagine that Effiong was waiting for the keeper to move first, but he stood his ground and it was an easy save from a soft kick.

Effiong is like a slightly more mobile Ryan Bird. But Bird just walloped his penalties - and they went in.

I don't know why you go to watch Dover, all you seem to do is complain about them.

A late Bromley pen gave them the draw. Tough game coming up on Saturday at Hong Kong, who ran out winners over Singapore-Manchester United last night in the battle of the moneybags and are now sitting pretty on 6 points. Local football, don't you just love it.

Predictable loss away at Gateshead sees us on 1 point out of 9 and 5th from bottom, with a panicky defence conceding late on, a lack of midfield creativity and goals hard to come by. Still, on a positive note, 43 more games to watch.

Same old, same old. Late goals against but different Dover team? ( but same management and tactics )
Looks like Bird’s replacement is making him look like Harry Kane!
But in Kinnear we trust, at the moment!

Time for a young full time boss sorry to say Dover will never go up unless this happens and he will need money for new good players also full time.

Dover can't afford a full time manager or the wages some clubs are paying
That's the real world
