that seems old information mr norman, mrs munt retired at the last election.
which ward are you referring to?
J. Munt is listed under Members Allowances...under which she has claimed for 2010/2011....I thought she had retired.....but who replaced her....
Actually the web-site is rather confusing....
J Hood is listed under Town and Pier...but you never hear anything about him

Jim Hood lives at Aycliffe and is a senior Councillor as he has been on the Council for one of the longest periods, well respected by both sides and although he hasnt been very well recently,in fact he was very seriously ill a few years ago he is still there and firing well at Council meetings.I have always learnt alot from Jim,and love listening to those deep Welsh words.
Marian Munt has Howard said a quietly spoken lady who retired at the last election because of ill health. When she got a bee in her bonnet usually of planning matters on the Folkestone Road she would never let it die.
Council years run from May to May,so the Allowances you are looking at Mr Norman are last years!
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

mr norman
you can look under individual councillors names or under the ward, both will give all relevant information.
seen marian around recently, she seems fit and well but pointed out to me that she was aged 80 just prior to the recent elections and thought that enough was enough.

Just to let you all know that I will be doing Councillors Surgery on Tuesday mornings between 10:00 and 12:00, with the exception of school holidays. I will be happy to answer questions and if you are not sure who you ward councillors are you can pop in and ask and I can tell you who they are and leave a request for them to contact you. I look forward to seeing some of you then, we have a comfortable seating area or a couple of nice rooms if you require more privacy.

might pop down myself when the cold weather sets in chris.
what with the heating bills at home and the prospect of free tea and biscuits i feel sure that i can think up a reasonable list of questions that should take me through to march.
Maybe we should start a thread for shelters with tea and biscuits for the
New Poor

Hands off my biscuits !

In the Dover Town Council offices, Maison Dieu House, Biggin Street, Dover. Right behind the War Memorial, next to the Town Hall. Just ask for me at the reception desk.
