So much for genuine migrants this lot are iron bar wielding thugs no doubt fleeing rather than face justice in their own country.

A few years back i saw a truck going up the hill near Archcliffe fort with around 10 stowaways looking out of the top of the trailer.I rang the police and the way i was treated i felt like a wrong-un for daring to report it.I tried to give the reg number of the truck but they was more interested in who i was and where i lived and why did i suspect that these people were illegal immigrants. With all these pointless questions i was getting angry and i told them that i was prepared to stop this truck with mine if nessercary until the police arrived.I was then told that i could be commiting an offence if i did this and could be prosecuted.I told them to ****** get on with it and finished the call.A complete waste of time trying to do the right thing.

The situation gets ever worse, if booze cruises are cancelled it hurts the economy on both sides of the channel. I think the army should be called in.

Not much the French can do Brian although I understand that they are stopping migrants entering their country from Italy now.
Illegal under the Schengen agreement but I don't blame them.

I can see why they are improving conditions for the migrants but will only encourage more to go to Calais.

In fairness Howard it's not the refugees complaining it's the aid workers, the refugees are probably amazed at how well looked after they are!

I doubt it Reg, wasn't very long ago that there was a mass protest about the food not being spicy enough for their taste.

Nothing worse than ordering a curry and it turns up with less clout than an opposition MP!
