To keep on re-stating that does not change the economic facts of life Keith.
Its not as if the Labour Party has a record of reducing unemployment either, the opposite in fact.

Average number of unemployed over each term of Government: too many. Stats will say what people want them to say. As long as we have poverty and inequality, and can see the homeless and the sick, isn't that good enough? We can argue about the rich, taxes, red/blue/yellow, who is the better person because they loathe the right sort of people, but the bottom line is we need to maker a way to treat the sick, promote health, reduce poverty and increase the incentives for people to work. Venom, hysteria and madness will not do any of those things.

Cabinet faces another split over £ 10 billion Welfare cuts.Ian Duncan-smith has told Olly that he rejects his call to sqeeze
£ 10 billion out of Welfare to protect spending cuts in other Whitehall departments.
Boris is also ready to intervene if his budget is cut,he said he would ``not be shy to intervene in a `voluble way` but not pick a `gratuitous fight`
He is shaking the curtains in the wings again.....does he have a whiff of a potential situation?

duncan-smith has certainly nailed his colours to the mast on this one, making his views known about the impending cuts to his department in the times today.

not his problem keith, he can only fight for his own department.
he fears the planned cuts would hit the most vulnerable in society, dave and george would probably think it a good idea.
