Probably end up being sold at auction via the Disposal Services Authority

UK asylum claim delays 'unacceptably high', says leaked document
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47006158
Typical BBC article. Shows number of applications and number granted.
The figure they dare not show and the only important one is how many we actually got rid of.

"Asylum registration should be completed in 10 days but the leaked report says it is taking 17." Truly shocking. Presumably they wait on beds in corridors. Of course, turning up unannounced is always apt to cause problems - can't they say in advance that they're coming?

Looks like the rather misnamed Alert has found another boat Dungeness way!

Dungeness? We can rely on our South Eastern coastal defence yobs to deal with the matter in their own way.

Just thought I would add that 6 suspected illegals were picked up at the last bus stop at Aycliffe this morning. Looked like they came in by a boat. Either Samphire hoe or Shakespeare beach. Due to lack of police resources it took 45 minutes to a 999 call for the over stretched Kent Police to come and collect them.

ps a lot of sirens between 3.20 and 3.45 this afternoon heading in the town direction.

All this has happened in the last few hours so give the media a chance, besides it is not actually a rare happening that migrants land in East Kent.

Actually the first lot was 9.30 this morning and it took the police 45 minutes to turn up. Not knocking the police because they have lack of resources

Home Office refuses to say if other migrant boats have arrived this month: 'We're not giving a running commentary on numbers.'
Nuff said?

The local press cannot do anything unless someone contacts them and tells them what they saw.
