It's nothing to do with religion, but whether Kent can take in 3 million Romanians and Bulgarians.
They are set to come over here, the first port of call, and settle down here, and make our County into their homeland.
They'd start renting vacant houses close to each other, forming colonies, and eventually whole streets would belong to them, and whole neighbourhoods.
And to put it plainly, the Romanian and Bulgarian governments are banking on this, to transfer via the EU millions of people over to "the UK".
These people won't even know or care what "UK" means. For them it will just mean "my new country, all paid for lock stock and barrel".
The Government has to abort this. I don't believe in abortion, but this needs aborting before the wild dream goes on.
It's time to tell Romania and Bulgaria to just forget it!

i watched newsnight and the people they spoke to were all well educated young professionals quite happy in their own country.
very different to the likely hordes that will descend on us in 2014.

Keith, you should consider the title of this thread, it's about open borders January 2014, with explicit reference to a wave of mass immigration coming from Romania and Bulgaria.
People from failed EU economies (Bulgaria 18% unemployment) about to swarm over to Kent via Dover with the intention of sponging up jobs, benefits and houses.
Hordes of people walking 7 abreast along Dover's streets and pushing three prams one next to the other.
Many complaints are already going out to the local authorities and the local and national Press.
I sent one complaint off the other day to Kent on Sunday about the Government.
I also complained on Sky News about this imminent wave of mass immigration today and had the comment published (article about Osborne arguing with the Scots over the pound).
I'll be complaining nationwide about this planned wave of mass immigration to Kent.

These figures in the Daily Mail are wrong.
The estimated figures are 3 million Romanians and Bulgarians poised to flush to Britain in the first 2 years alone.
The BBC survey also confirmed this, although it was already known through other estimates.
The combined populations of Romania and Bulgaria are over 30 million.

So, 200% increase in YOUTH unemployment in this part of South Wales.
Our clown of a Chancellor will probably find that not only the Scots, but the Welsh and the English will be departing and leaving this Government to govern alone in London!
He gives us Austerity and mass unemployment and is preparing the way for millions more Eastern Europeans, to add to the millions already here and coming over daily.
I'm not sure there will be this "United Kingdom" by January 2014.
The Chancellor is kidding himself when haranguing the Scots, because they are not the only people in this Country who have had enough.
Take the 200% increase in YOUTH unemployment in one year in Mr. Bryant's constituency in Rhondda as a fine example.
The Establishment has betrayed the Youth in Britain and betrayed our Country and our future.
I boycott all elections as I do not believe in this Establishment.

alex,the only true figure will be found out in the first 6 months of 2014,then the novelty will ware of within 10 months.
