Just to improve the look of the DTIZ, looks like the bloody gypsies have now moved into St. James' Car Park. I wonder how long it will take for our elected representatives at Whitfield to actually get rid of them? I would say
"there goes the neighbourhood" but it is the DTIZ after all....
Just off to load the shotgun...

Probably the same lot that turn up every year, usually stay for 3 or 4 days before going on the ferry.

Keith, what makes you think Paul is a UKIP supporter?
For all I know he is but its a very strange assumption to make based on his 22 contributions.

See, there you go again Keith - obviously in your world you have to pigeonhole other people to justify your own limited scope of what surrounds you. For the record, my political beliefs are far ranging and are not covered by one political party, they certainly aren't governed by liberalism though.
What I do believe though is that to exist in our society, one must contribute to it - these 'travellers' pay no taxes, are of a criminal class and expect the tax paying people of this country to put up with their ways. That to me is not acceptable.

Paul, Keith and Reg like to pigeonhole people it seems to be the only way they can understand those of us with open minds.
They labelled me a closet Conservative which explains my signature

Five of them there this morning - I wonder if they've paid for their car park tickets...
So come on Mr Watkins, what is going to happen? If I park in a car park and don't pay I will get ticketed/clamped, yet these 'outlaws' are allowed to do as they please. Clamp down on them, tow away the vehicles and send a message that Dover won't tolerate their presence.

The problem is that they always turn up with children so nothing can be done until the hand-wringers of social services have had their input.

The children would be likely placed in a care-home if the parents do not offer them schooling and a house.
So the parents would have to apply for a house and a place at school for their children.

They are mostly not British, Alex. They stay long enough to get DDC and KCC into a lather, then bugger off back to Ireland or onwards to the Continent.
