13:1180130It was a start to integrate into the communty and could have been extended, but it was rejected at the first hurdle

14:0780134still says very little keith, what was described as integrating?
a few examples would be:
a) sending their children to school on a regular basis.
b) not loitering in alleyways in large numbers.
c) not using their back garden as a lavatory.
d) not tooting their car horn repeatedly in the middle of the night.
my experience of migrant helpline is that they just look for a quiet life, absolutely no use to anyone.

I hear what you say, and yes your right some do cause problems.
But as has been said on here it's a 2 way thing, and many of the issues you raise could have been looked at, but alas it didnt get past the first hurdle

15:4380137If immigration advocates really want to help they could start by pointing out that the things Howard mentions are not acceptable here. And integration IS 2-way, with some positive response from the immigrants a boon.

16:5380146integration is quite simple, all the incomers have to do is look at what the locals are doing and then do the same.
besides they must realise that the code of behaviour is much the same in most european countries.
