  two trains of thought here,
  1,the usa new of the inpending doom and let it happen,and used it as an exuse to go into irag/afgan.
  
  2,they genraly didnt know untill it happend.
  
  but after saying that george w bush was in office,who proved to be a warmonger.he also duped tony blair into commiting to war after 7/7.
