At the end of the last war we and the USA rebuild Germany, that made jobs for all, this could be done again now,I also said this years ago, stay in your own lands and lets us help rebuid new homes etc over there again this would have(1) give the public new and better homes made jobs here in building the new homes, the cost could have been sharedout with all members of the EU not just the UK .it would have been win win win for all of us. And for some of you that will say,Vic Matcham is always talking about himself and what he says and that is very true I am and I do because I say it thats why. Thank you. I am all for helping the ones that have less than we have but you have to look after no1 first because if you do not do that who will look after no 2, just think about that.

Funny that Vic I walked down the Town today to pay some bills and I happen to walk at the same time as 2 youngsters who were talking a foreign language and spitting very loud as well.Where were they from in Europe Dover actually they were local kids!
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

I also remember a few years ago when some Eastern Europeans were attacked in the Town, they were not Eastern Europeans and were actually crew from the Cruise Liner. I could show you 10 people who you would think were Eastern European and 10 people who look like they are from Dover, and you guessed it you would be wrong on each occasion.Yes some are awful Eastern Europeans as well as some of our yoof but in the main it is because they are not speaking English.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

You maybe right Mr. JHG
Maybe the population of the towns is not undergoing an influx of non indigenes British,
Only time will tell if things change in a bad way?
But the politicians and town officials that are fully in the know today of the facts need to be preparing for the possible changes.
Maybe the public are imagining it all,
But when I go to the local boot sales there seems to be lots of people talking in non English, I never come across this 10 years ago
Maybe I am experiencing having my nose rubbed in diversity as Mr. Blair intended.

I can remember similar comments to some of those previously about the 'influx' of West Indians and Hungarians when I was young, by the time I left London to live here the vast majority had integrated very well.
There are good and bad regardless of nationality.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Are you willing to give up your generous pension to accommodate the numbers ?

Ooh!
And not to forget, that Dover is the oldest British settlement.
I figured this out because Dover is the only part of Britain visible to the Continent.
So the first people to settle in Britain must have arrived at The Waters (Dubra), which became Dover.
I never gave credence to the idea that the people who settled in Cornwall and Ireland arrived there with very small boats 5,000 years ago from Spain (Iberia), rafts on which man, wife and children were embarked, together with food and cattle.
These rafts would have all sunk long before they got anywhere near Cornwall or Ireland.
So they must have come to Dubra first, and then moved on inland, even to Cornwall, Scotland, and from thence to Ireland.

Our White Horse of Kent is a cousin of the Westphalian white horse, which is also rampant.
Our Horse is believed to have come with Horsa and his brother Hengest.
One estimate is that the People of Kent descend equally from the Celtic Britons of the Canti tribe, and from the Jutes led by Horsa and Hengest.
Our Kentish King Ethelbert married the Frankish Princess Bertha, who brought the Gospel along from France and converted her husband to the Faith. She would have spoken the Frankish language, which was similar to the language spoken by the Jutes and Anglo-Saxons.
So to be culturally British, we do have to know our history.

We're all from East Africa if you go back far enough.
All Mixed Up - Pete Seeger
You know this language that we speak,
Is part German, Latin and part Greek
Celtic and Arabic all in a heap,
Well amended by the people in the street
Choctaw gave us the word "okay";
"Vamose" is a word from Mexico way.
And all of this is a hint I suspect of what comes next.
[Chorus:]
I think that this whole world
Soon mama my whole wide world
Soon mama my whole world
Soon gonna be gettin' mixed up.
I like Polish sausage, I like Spanish rice,
And pizza pie is also nice
Corn and beans from the Indians here
Washed down by German beer
Marco Polo traveled by camel and pony,
He brought to Italy, the first macaroni
And you and I as well as we're able,
We put it all on the table
There were no red-headed Irishmen
Before the Vikings landed in Ireland
How many Romans had dark curly hair
Before they brought slaves from Africa?
No race of man is completely pure,
Nor is anyone's mind, that's for sure
The winds mix the dust of every land,
And so will woman and man.
This doesn't mean we will all be the same,
We'll have different faces and different names
Long live many different kinds of races
It's difference of opinion that makes horse races
Just remember the rule about rules, brother
What could be right for one could be wrong for the other
And take a tip from La Belle France: "Viva la difference!"
