• New site access signal junction incorporating new pedestrian crossing facilities and new cycle infrastructure to link in with the existing cycle facilities on Woolcomber Street; and
• Improvements to the National Cycle Route 1.
For Roger -
7.19 The worst case car parking demand suggests that there is a potential short fall in parking of 231 spaces with the full mezzanine uplift (maximum occupancy of 152%). Although as indicated earlier this is likely to be substantially over estimated due to linked trips taking place.
7.20 Using the average peak parking occupancy for the Saturday (1400 - 1500) it is more likely that there will be shortfall in car parking of around 44 spaces.
7.21 The car parking assessment demonstrates that within Dover, the car parks close to the site have potentially between 455 and 623 available spaces and therefore sufficient car parking capacity to accommodate any overspill which may occur from the development.
