Most people seem to presume this money will be spent in Dover town however I think it is district wide and possibly even further afield hence Kent Community Fund deciding where the money will go.

Kent Community Fund will not make any decisions. They will merely be custodians and administrators. The precise makeup of the body which will make the decisions is not yet decided but it appears that Bishop Trevor will chair it.

Easy to see what the game is, release every week or so the name of a worthy cause whilst dismantling the pier hoping nobody notices.

I am sad to say that my bid for funding for the Kent Miners Festival was rejected.

Richard, keep the faith. The drum which is most in tune is not always the loudest. The community fund is a creature of the dhb, not of the community.
