The saying is all publicity is good publicity, I suppose they should have previously asked but it was a silly mistake to pick this pub as it is (see comments) " the most left wing one".

disagree roger, bad news for a pub, restaurant or shop to be associated with a political party, all it does is alienate customers that don't like that party.

If I we was out having a meal last thing I would like to see is a party come and hold a meeting there alright in a room away from where the public and drinking or eating.
