Clair, is a typical new Labour party ,head in the fantasy bucket breed of politician ,
She celebrates mass migration and mass EU expansion , with out recognizing the damage to the British working class she professes to represent

Maybe Farage is not as power hungry as Clegg but I doubt he would turn down the chance.

Needs to be called by the Torys, cannot see them hurrying to do you that while the ball is very much in UKIPs court. They will let the Clacton effect die down and for the Tory press to get into Reckless first.

The really interesting polls will be from April onward.
Interim polls and elections are often protests but I think the Libdems might be a thing of the past as they always got the 'not sure about the two major parties' voter.

Just to show how confused things are this poll taken at the same time as the one in the "Mail" shows Red Ed and co 7 points ahead of the blues.

What Farage says depends on how much he has had to drink, that sounds a six pint policy.

So much for no deals with the blues while Dave is in charge.

Anyone who votes for labour, the libdems or the tories is asking for more of the same nonsense which has led to our economic decline.
Anyone who suggests that by not voting then you have no right to voice an opinion on the sorry state of the UK can only blame themselves for helping us all to where we stand now.
It seems to me that at least UKIP, whose policies are a mish mash of confused ideas and even more confusing solutions to the problems we face have opened up a debate which was absent when it was most needed.
Not so the swivel eyed loonies they were portrayed by all three parties after all. On the contrary an earlier generation would have said the same about the policies carried out in the name of the three mainstream parties over recent history - PFI, climate change, energy policy, industrial decline, bloated welfare leading to national dependency, tax credits, wide open borders, nanny statism, illegal wars, etc. etc. etc. etc.
Don't vote for them - it's another half hour of your life you will never get back.

I'm not actually clear what Philip is recommending in his post, incidentally I read earlier that 4 blue MP's can only retain their seats next May by defecting to UKIP.

Brian I can't imagine why you keep posting up this odd video so often. A joke fails if you have to explain it or if you have to tell it twice.
I don't know if any of you noticed today but there was a strike today involving NHS staff. I wonder how they would feel if they knew how government money was being wasted on stuff like this:
