What I am interested in is the forum. Some time ago there was a lot of bad feeling on here caused by a certain member who said he had left and joined another forum. Things settled down to a nice newsy friendly forum again. Well now the "exmember" is back and causing more bad feeling, most of which is on this thread. He talks absolute rubbish and mocks the very roots of Dover Forum by his childish postings.
Now another member - Keith Sansum - and I have had a few disagreements on here but I still consider him a friend. I would just like to say that I think he has been very restrained and polite in all his posts on this thread, I don't think I could have taken this persons comments as well as he has. Nice one Keith, I really admire your patience in the face of a very inflated ego. I know you're a very good PCSO and a credit to the police force. I know I don't need to say this but you are respected on here - more than can be said for the other party

Ukip is the official opposition. Hardly a non party.
Ukip is the only opposition in the uk.
I do agree the personal stuff amongst members is not good, this needs to be stopped
We have political threads, for members that want them , its not compulsory to enter them .
Jacqui You can start threads that interest you if you like

Could I thank you for your comments, yes I try to remain restrained,
Some members find that frustrating
and at times I do to.
But im up front say it as it is.
Yes Im critical of the tories
and UKIP
and the soon forgotten Lib dems
I also lean to labour but at the moment they don't inspire me any more that the other 2 or 3.
And as iv said I wont be voting for an imposed candidate
I think Jacqui there are a few reasons why I don't get upset
Im a fairly laid back type of guy unless I have to bite lol
The personal comments do little to help the other persons posting
Im all for everyone posting, even those that went out in a blaze of postings stating they were leaving
then they come back.
The forum is made up of many highly qualified/interesting people
and many differing views
Jacqui and I may disagree from time to time, but what a boring forum it would be if everyone agreed all the time

so getting back to the original post,
UKIP appeal without doubt prior to the KCC elections UKIP did a realy good leaflet on how they would sort out the allowances
Once they became the largest opposition party at KCC they had a great opportunity to raise this issue in a 2 minute speech(that he could have taken 7 mins) the leader made little mention of allowances. apart from stating the allowances for UKIP should be higher.
now when other parties go back on the doorstep and let he electorate know that UKIP sold them down the river, not only did they NOT grasp the nettle
they actually wanted to INCREASE the allowances!!!!!!

a)-We are told that UKIP wishes to 'restore' Democracy. Yet they and the Tories demand that children in the state sector be taught history only with reference to Ks and Qs and that they be acquainted with our shameful past, and derive pride there-from.
b)So...'we' wont call it Sharia, no matter how close the resemblance. Since when has the law applied equally to all? At last, genuine novelty.
c)With the abolition of any and all human rights, this is a logical step.
