Prior to this referendum, I had imagined that in the case of Brexit, UKIP will down tools, say something along the lines of our work here is done, and that's that, with some joining the Tory party.
However, what has struck me since is that Labour were in a state of disarray that even I had underestimated. UKIP may actually move into their territory in order to ensure Brexit terms are as right wing as they would like them to be.
Whatever, for the love of all that's holy, I hope that Labour get rid of JC as the state of British politics right now is an utter shambles and until we have an opposition that actually wants to be in Government, the road ahead is far from rosy.

Being a ex UKIP chairman I think in about a year we could see UKIP JOIN up with the blues and Mr Farage who I know, in fact I did aske him a few years ago would he turn down a seat within the blues party.I have his book The Fighting bull which he wrote in it for me and sighed it.

Farage is rubbing everyone's nose in it this morning in the European Parliament which I suppose he is entitled to after campaigning for 17 years. MEP's for Sinn Fein and SNP pleading for special treatment which they certainly won't get.

Farage has fallen on his sword claiming that he has achieved his ambition which he has but I expect he plans to be in the next Tory government negotiating our exit from the EU.

Would be shooting themselves in the foot if they voted this rule in, Suzanne Evans is their best orator and vote winner.

I think Peter was being droll with his comment as Boris would see UKIP as a bunch of oiks. I remember Farage visiting a hunt telling them that he would bring it back and they all looked at him as if he were a smell under their noses.
Since then UKIP have made great headway in the Labour heartlands who feel let down by their party and that there is where they will aim for a cluster of MP's in the next Parliament.

I think ukip membership will now roll back and lots of branches will struggle to make up the numbers.
Lots of people joined ukip to get us out of the EU .
There is lots of room for a third uk party but I don’t see ukip shaking of its tory hierarchy control
The N E C is very rigged towards ex-tory types from the barrister accountant finance professions.

Not to be outdone by Tories and Labour UKIP decide to make a dog's breakfast out of their leadership election.

24/6 Cameron resigns
13/7 May is Prime Minister
It might have been a dog's breakfast but at least it was eaten fairly quickly!

Woolfe shouldn't be allowed to stand, he's committed fraud when asked do you have any convictions he says he forgot the drink drive one, so add lying to the list.
I wonder when we might actually see an opposition to the Government.

Woolfe is by far the member's favourite and they believe he has been fitted up. If Arron Banks decides to start a new party in opposition to UKIP then most of the members will jump ship.

The UKIP people don't post anymore, I'm not even sure who is still a member anyway, they're website shows changes of personnel very often.
