For sure, there's a group on the Labour left who can't stand the leadership, just like there is a group on the right who can't stand the Conservative leadership. But for 99% not at either end of the political scale, Labour are ok, if not perfect.

Definitely not 'watered down', honest! Merely 'finessed' and the brothers aren't happy.

Shocking set of local election results for the Tories - worse than I anticipated.

Sue
I wouldn't vote for the Tories if they were the only party!!!!!!!!
Unlike yourself who can easily switch from
Lib dems to tory to Labour
That shows the state of politics today

You know the saying, don't let the perfect get in the way of the good. Any Labour government is at least not a Tory government - and work backwards from there.

If only all politicians were like Andy Burnham, who seems publicly to put Manchester people before anything else, I doubt it would really matter which party was in control of the country

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I know you have the faith
But I'm as worried having your guy at the controls than Sunak

You shouldn't. Starmer has a left wing party to keep happy, Sunak has a right wing party to keep happy. That should at least give you some comfort.
