There is a big difference between having a policy and being able to enforce it.
As we seem to be unable to return the illegal boats and people that arrive from Europe we are stuck with the problem regardless of who is in power.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Look, there is not, nor has there ever been, an intention to 'stop all the boats'.
The intention is to for you to believe that there is an intention to 'stop all the boats'. In that respect, the intention has been successful, as everyone talks of 'policy failure'.
Mass immigration is a fundamental liberal policy, Labour or Conservative.
Public hand-wringing is cover.
At least EU Meloni was more honest about this (after she won on an opposing ticket, of course).

Weird \Jan
That really is my point, to put in one of your pledges to stop the boats , was doomed to failure the minute it was thought up.
Whilst I understand Bob's party wants to look strong on immigration leading to the general election, this failure will I believe have the opposite to what Bob's party wanted to achieve .

Meanwhile, in Europe, a descendant of American slave owners is campaigning for her second term as EC President.

Ursula (Röschen to her family) says she will only play with '
pro-European, pro-Nato, pro-Ukrainian, clear supporters of our democratic values'.
All of which leaves me worried that cuddly Rose may soon run out of friends, find her play-room shrinking, and get the sulks.
