the knives are being sharpened for dave if the newspapers are to be believed.
i think the revolting backbenchers will calm down when they realise he is the only vote winner amongst them.

the right wing of the party are not happy on his wanting to stay in the E.U.
His u turns are doing him big harm
the swing of 7% to labour shows people have lost faith in him
just a few items of many that will see dave being the 1 term master

# 995 and # 998..mistaken? .....there were no `F`s` used.Boris`s `F`s` get votes and probably won the election.
`F`s`are supposed to gather attention unless they are used profusely.
# 1000 ..Brian ...Scallywags?......fkn`s please.
# 1001..not sure..backbenchers seem to be preoccupied with Gay marriages and the Lords.
# 1002..Agree.

well now, we have the elite greedy pigs that cameron is happy to see continue
then like reg says the 2 big issues for the back benchers appears to be the lords and gay marriage.
in everyday life im sure these 2 would not come out as a top priority

I note an elite greedy pig in the shapely form of top model Linda Evangelista who appears to think it costs upwards of £24k permonth to bring up a child and is suing the childs father, with whom she had a 6 day fling, for that amount. I try not to use provocative words or emotive threads, but I was a little irritated by that one!!!!!

No, Keith, I am not. There are always people who abuse their power and wealth and those who do not. What does not help is the corporate bigotry I have seen on this thread. That does not stop me noticing when people actually, in reality, do stupid things around money.

blimey thought for a minute bern you were agreeing (phew)
there are a number of elite abusing the system from all walks of life

I do not recall ever saying anything other than that.
The dictionary definition of Elite is: "A group or class of persons or a member of such a group or class, enjoying superior intellectual, social, or economic status." There is nothing to say that inevitably those people will abuse their good fortune, or even to indicate how they have attained their status. Having an enhanced status does not inevitably lead to abuse of fortune, although clearly it does in some cases, and the risks are there. This thread, however, has flung an offensive name at almost anyone with a bit of money, however it was earned, and has started off with the assumption that those with wealth must surely be greedy pigs and will shaft us. I simply don't think that is helpful.

We both want equality for all, support Dover, despise bullishness, support crime reduction and enjoy the forum!! We just have a few differences of opinion along the way. Thinking differently to each other doesn't mean we are wrong, just have different paths.

Why do we want equality for all when obviously we are not all equal?

And doesn't equality also come from equality of effort and there isn't much of that.
Roger
I was using shorthand, really, for equality of opportunity, which is a splendid aspiration. I am a little tired of those grand but woolly terms such as equality and fairness. It is all relative, and one mans fairness is another mans unfairness.

In an attempt to return to the thread and to avoid the use of the gobbledegook of the dictionary.
Are the UK deficit cuts `equally` shared between the elite greedy pigs and the UK general public?
