David
I respect you have a right to a view, and certaintly disagree with some if not a lot of your postings, but would still encourage your postings,
If it's correct you wish to stand as an MP at the next election? you need to get people on board, not isolate them

Keith, thanks very much for your advice.
At the last local elections turnout was less than 40% which means the vast majority of the electorate are, as you call it, isolated or disenchanted. We are sick and tired of triballists on both sides who have no purpose beyond gaining power, you are a prime example, 25 years a politician, you do nothing but bleat about tories, you NEVER offer a positive alternative.
Voters are sick of mainstream political parties which is why UKIP are making such progress.
Now back to the question:
You're happy to inform on tax cheats - what about benefit cheats?

Reg, the difference between avoidance and evasion has been explained many times, one is a criminal offence, the other is legal.

David,
some observations;
I presume then you don't wish to answer the question on your standing as a candidate in the general election?
I share your view the 3 main parties have lost there way I have been saying that for some time, but my posts are across the board, not centred on one party like you do on a regular basis
I don't think there is a poster on here who agree's with benefit cheats and everyone wants to see them caught and dealt with
the problem we have is that both main parties have tried to take the issue on but always come up against the problems of those more deserving cases getting caught up in the net.
Your definition of a benefit cheat may differ to.

Keith, when is the general election?
If its next week I won't be standing.
I'll lay down a gauntlet to you, we both stand as independents and we'll see who gets most votes. No hiding behind a rosette or party funding, lets see the colour of your money.
By the way, you say:

I congratulated you on your attempt at satire a few weeks back and it just gets better. The man from the moon could decide within 30 seconds of reading the forum that what you've posted there is utter garbage. I've told you, I loathe ALL mainstream politicians in equal amounts, well 99% of them.

It looks like you have been flushed out then, and will be a candidate at the 2015 general election and I thank you for that confirmation.
On the question of the elections i'v done my bit over 25 years and have no interest in standing locally or nationally.
That said if i were to stand it wou;d have to be as an indy as i have burnt bridges with the labour party.
Who would get more votes is questionable, but i have no interest in all that any more im to busy at work and in my voluntary work.

New tax rate.
£10,000 -£20,000 pay 20% tax
£20,000-£200,000 pay 20% tax
Anything above that pay 20% tax.
Everyone pays their due tax, no avoidance.
At the moment, many of those paying higher than 20% tax, use avoidance schemes and end up paying nothing or next to nothing.
How does this help the economy?
Of course, there must be a reason why it could not be as this simple as this, common sense tells me that.

may 2015 is set in stone.
reg is correct in 2727, the treasury is homing in on "avoidance" schemes as well as general evasion.
