Angela Merkle to launch Tax Haven fight in UK.
Cameron and Osborne talk the talk on Tax Avoidance / Evasion but Merkle is the ```Fat Lady```
"It's not right that giant global companies have huge sales here [in Germany], in all of Europe, in the United States and
elsewhere and then only pay taxes somewhere in a tiny tax haven," Merkel said in a speech in the northern town of Demmin.
"That's why we're going to fight to finally put an end to tax havens at the G8 meeting this year in Great Britain," she said. "The
whole world will have to fight for it otherwise we won't accomplish that."...................

Greedy money grabbing politicians out to screw everyone of their cash and assets, They have to learn that they rule by consent, they are the servants not the masters and if they over tax us and overspend/borrow then they have to cut back on their vote buying not steal more money off us. She does not have a hope in hell, it is only competition that can curb their greed so the tax havens are doing us a favour. Better for the UK to respond, reduce taxes, welcome investors here and compete to rebuild our economy and create more jobs and wealth..

"Tomorrow marks the end of the consultation period for the government's proposals to measure child poverty in a new way. Several of us, fellows of the British Academy, with colleagues, have responded, pointing out the ways in which the proposals are confused and would meet neither the government's objectives nor international standards.
We agree that as well as tracking how many children are in poverty as currently measured, it is helpful to track what is happening to the factors that lead to poverty and the barriers to children's life chances. But it does not make sense to combine all of these into a single measure. To do so would open up the government to the accusation that it aims to dilute the importance of income in monitoring the extent of "poverty" at precisely the time that its policies will be reducing the real incomes of poor families. We call on the government to reconsider its proposals.

Avoiding Tax is Rife...............
Now Water Companies are caught avoiding Tax......
British water companies are avoiding millions of pounds in tax by loading themselves up with debt listed on an offshore stock exchange, an investigation has revealed.
The disclosure is likely to reignite the public outcry about legal tax avoidance by big firms at a time when Britain is drowning in debt and suffering painful public spending cuts. It comes only a week after industry regulator Ofwat announced that water bills would rise by an average of 3.5 per cent to £388 a year. Corporate Watch found six UK water companies took high-interest loans from their owners through the Channel Islands stock exchange. Interest payments on the loans reduce taxable profits in the UK and, thanks to a regulatory loophole, go to the owners tax free.

It is a real eye opener, whilst some support the millions of profits being made(and there may be a little justification in that, ) whilst we are deep in the poop surely these offshore accounts are not helping,
worse they are demoralising those struggling for survival

Cherrypicking Osborne asks his ``Euro`` friends to fight Corporate Tax avoidance.......he says UK
cannot do it alone.......interesting.......... does he mean no country is an `island`?
Germany ,France and UK urge G20 to crackdown on Global Tax avoidance.
Now if avoiding Tax by Corporations is a `problem`and unacceptable will Osborne feel the same
drastic treatment be applied to his wealthy friends who are doing exactly the same ?
G20 Finance Ministers are hunting down the Finance Johnnie pariahs of global finance...........
