I will be glad when today is over and the votes counted only to see what mess turns up, positive thoughts there.

No real surprise that the Lib Dems have made great gains but the Tories have lost control of Folkestone and Hythe.

Count starts at 10 am Sue full results expected around noon, meanwhile Boris tweeted that he had voted yesterday even though there were no elections in London!!

It will be interesting to see who has managed to stay in and who has been kicked out.
Boris might be registered to vote in some other part of the country other than London, maybe he has a nice country pad somewhere.

Will be a close run thing in Canterbury with the council leader losing his seat, I suspect local planning issues are playing a part like in Folkestone.

First results in Jamie Rose wins Alkham and Capel - le - Ferne for the Tories, how the mighty are fallen. The two Tories hold Little Stour and Ashstone ward. Dave Beaney and Mark Rose(Tories) in Dover Downs and River.
