Correct - to paraphrase the great Oscar Wilde 'one lives in Deal whereas one merely exists in Dover'

Bloody Hell! Wish I had not taken my own advice about what to watch
I suppose it got a bit like this in Romania when even the home was bugged?
Shakespeare raaaaaaacist?
Sir, you may thank yourself for this great loss,
That would not bless our Europe with your daughter,
But rather loose her to an African,
Tempest Act 2 Sc 1.

To be honest Bob, if you haven't found another job yet you should hun. You need to get out more lovey... all this multi personality stuff is unhealthy. bless. My nephew used to have imaginary friends too, that said he was only 5 years old... I do feel for you. It must be hard remembering who you are. xx

This thread is getting surreal with this or that accusation about who is using their real name or not and where they live or do not live.
The words used when posting are the important thing, I thought this was the Politics Forum not the Comedy Page.

If you didn't laugh at politcs Jan you would have to cry. Same as some of the jokers on this board. The thread is about an accusation so forgive us for exploring other allegations that come up. I for one will try hard not to be funny and will set my humour filter in case I forget.

Chrissi, I find most comments by the majority of those involved with politics funny, simply because they are so good at bending the facts to fit their version of the truth.

bless, the simple things that keep politicians occupied. Politicians are meant to try and secure votes for their party. I think the tories have got an infiltrator in their camp. Serves them right for not shutting the door last time they kicked him out!

Haha Jan. Politicians for the most part remind me of silly school boys with their persiflage.

Bob haddock n whysman prove that.

Popped in the bank today and after completing the transaction the Manager ( I only humour the minions on forums), said "thank you for your custom Mr Whysman." He saw my look of horror and continued, "are you alright.' Alright, now that's a name I've never thought of!
Feeling more relaxed I opened today's local paper and what did I see.........another Bob using his correct birth name , Robert.
It is slightly harder to spell than BOB which spelt backwards is still the same, whereas Robert spelt backwards is Trebor rather sweet eh?
I diverse, what really caught my eye was the item, "Racist graffiti charge." What do you think coincidence or paranoia?

Dumb but not racist? Possibly a good description of frost?
If you are half serious about 'racism' a quick google will find complaints from frost to the Press Council relating to the stereotyping of ethnic minorities going back to 1987.
I believe case Y14135 relating to the Daily Star of 20/01/87 was one of the first.
This would appear to be over a quarter of a century being more 'right on' than most of those who criticise him?
The thing that the 'left' do not understand is the use of irony and satire etc. etc.
Looking back Jonathan Swift with his 'Modest Proposal' we have had at least 500 years of people being wound up.
Latterly we have the excellent Auberon Waugh on the right and Rod Liddle on the left who have with exadurated alter egos have managed to give entertainment to the masses without recourse to Bread and Circuses.
By all means carry on tilting at windmills if you find it theraputic.

Howard.
Pinter would have many more pauses (apparently he was known for them?).
I think it's much more like Beckett.
None of us know what the Hell is going on but none of us dare admit it so we all leave the theatre saying it was 'wonderful'.

Oh, keep up Howard! I was born and finely bred in Folkestone but Sussex is where I now live. Today's date on the paper hopefully is confirmation of that!
This fact has been disputed by a frosty person who insists that I'm not Robert Whysman but one called Bob Frost.
He must be laughing his socks off now for all the pantomime parts being played out on here.......but there is a serious conclusion to all this, although retired now something in this thread caught my attention, so I decided to follow up my 'gut feeling.'
It is to the credit of those involved that they were able to upload around 79 postings, some useful, others as fillers.
I will try to evaluate and post my findings in lay terms when time permits, meanwhile that's me out of here.
