And unlike the person who joked on Facebook he'd better take his pic of Jimmy Saville from his window in case it got a brick through it.
Who could that be

Gets worse for the people of Thanet, as we know Farage is only interested in Thanet South as it is a seat he is most likely to win. The Red candidate is now asking Blue and Yellow voters to vote for him to keep out UKIP. The main parties see it as important to stop Farage as the party is likely to collapse without him as leader. The end game is that nobody cares much about the constituency and that once the election is over all the problems they currently have will stay the same or get worse and the media hordes will be long gone.

Don't forget a significant proportion of South Thanet is in the DDC area.

More reason then to vote for Craig and Charlie.
Despite the moaning about DDC recently, it has moved forward on virtually all fronts, with Council Tax (the DDC bit) staying the same for two years and services being kept or improved.
Laura worked well for her constituents, so has Charlie, don't change a winning formula, I say.

Mckinlay is not a good candidate defected from UKIP and failed in his bid to become police commissioner. Serves on Medway council and has no real links with Thanet. A poll this morning shows the Blues 31% UKIP 30% Reds 29% so all to play for. Scobie is campaigning as the only local candidate which could help him.

The bookies have the blues 2-1 ON fav, Ukip 5-1, reds 25-1. Follow the money, not the polls.

Polls really are a complete waste of time as there is no way to prove those questioned are telling the truth.

Most people tell the truth to pollsters as evidenced by results in the past, very different to party canvassers though. The three main parties locally are all claiming to be winning based on their doorstepping.
Bookies have to get it right all through the scottish independence referendum they had the no vote odds on even when the polls showed 50/50.

1992, only the bookies had a Tory majority, ALL the polls had a Labour win.

Interesting point Peter - the bookies stopped taking bets on Alex Salmond being DPM a few weeks ago.
With what the local polls are showing, after the election it could be Carswell as Leader of UKIP with David Little as his Deputy

I don't know how often the bookies amend their odds but William Hill have had the same prices for our local candidates for well over two months. Just looked at the Paddy Power website and they have it 4/11 blue, 4/1 red and 5/1 purple. In Thanet South they have it 1/2 purple, 3/1 blue and 5/1 red. Do they look that closely at what is happening on the campaign trail by constituency or just average things out over the country?
