Peter has said many times that he is not a member of any politiical party Keith, but you have posted that he is, more than once.
If that's not stirring, I don't know what is.

Keith you seem to imply that unsuccessful lobbying is as praiseworthy as lobbying which actually gets results.

PETER;
The truth of the matter is, in reality is i'm happy to say that ALL those involved in the lobbying(including charlie) got results, by all working together with the one aim for apositive result.
no one person achieved it all
and you do a dis service to the many others who also worked hard in those areas.

Yes Keith and if you read my post again (in full) you will find that I did acknowledge right from the start that no one person did it all. My point is that while a lot of people got involved, Charlie got the job completed.
Please don't keep misrepresenting my words, I would be the last person to belittle anyone who works for the benefit of Dover, whatever their political affiliations.
Party politics can only get in the way of progress; I support the candidate not the party. Dover needs fresh minds and a fresh approach which will not come from seasoned apparatchiks of any party. Charlie has such an approach which is why I support him, but I would support him in his future ministerial career only if he has done enough to get Dover mended first.
And thank you Roger, I do wish Keith would wind his neck in on the party issue.

I support a any good idea or any positive step forward for Dover before the candidate or the party. Dover first .

Keith that comment about winding your neck in is nothing to do with differences of opinion, it is to do with your constant and tiresome repetition of your statements and insinuations that I am a Tory party member.
Differences of opinion are to be welcomed and are what makes the forum an interesting site to be a part of. Eternal repetitions of allegations which you know to be false are not. So, Please wind your neck in and stick to facts and opinions.

No probably about it Keith. And not a disciple, there is plenty for which I criticise the Tories. I just believe that criticism ought to happen in private and approval should be out in the open. Otherwise we all end up accentuating the negative. If I think Charlie has done a good job and others are knocking him I shall damn well say so in public. If I think he has made a mistake I tell him face to face.
Please do not repeat your false statements about my imagined political allegiances in future. You have told me you are no longer a member of the Labour party. Fine. I accept your word on that. Why do you not accept mine?

Keith you have not answered my question. Why do you not accept my statement that I am not a member of the Tory party? 'probably' does not cut it and I take strong exception to implications that I am a liar.

Somebody told me that Barry W. was a Tory. With his policies I can't see it myself.

I fully supported Charlie Elphicke's views regards a No to the Whitfield urbanisation project.
On his blog, his views in respect to this were that nationwide, we don't need at present more urban conjestion.
As Peter, I too will credit the MP when he deserves it!
Like Peter, I'm not a member of a party.
