If we had proper workable employment contracts ,and slung out all the influence EU directives and crazy H S E , we could all have big reductions in council tax

well whoever is responsible of DTC , I wouldnt want an increase in this area again!! If helped, no increase apart from inflation as this is the only acceptable thing to do. Other than this, I do not agree in all these increase hypes....

the precept from the town council has little effect on the final bill heike.
i think that last year the rise was between 1 and 2% and will probably be the same this year.
the 34 % hike from the town council/s is to cover themselves for extra services that they will be expected to take over in the future.

KCC looking for a 1.99% rise the same as last year which will cost most people £.21 for the year.
