I saw on Autumnwatch last night that Hen Harriers are under threat. The BBC website says "This is the first year that there have been no official recordings of successful hen harrier breedings"
The cat left a dead rat on my lawn today that is 3 he has killed now,he will kill anything birds and mice are the main ones ,I am always keeping my eyes on him because we get so much wildlife in the garden and I love to sit out in the bunker with both doors open seeing it all go on.
Our garden birds have suddenly increased their visits to the bird feeders, including woodpeckers - and blue tits keep peeping in our nest box ! Signs of spring I guess.
