Did I get the, " foreign gas-guzzler", bit right Peter? Why not a 'Healey'?

Last time I popped up there some dude pulled up in a brand new Ferrari, and looked like he was running the site. Maybe that forms part of the wider community funding initiative? :)

The KCC unemployment figures for Whitfield were 66, perhaps this is now down to 54 (+the car-wash job losses?). At £15m per dozen, and with the Euro-Lottery jackpot at £105m a local winner could clear the jobless queue and have a bit left over for a local floral display?
Yet again we are all pressed to applaud the spending of much money and asked to not look too closely. What is good for Ferrari today will eventually be good for us all?

I shall use them in future because:
1. The location is convenient.
2. Esso petrol is of high quality.
3. The guys behind it are some of our local 'investing angel' heroes and deserve support.
4. One in the eye for the dreaded T**co.

Sorry I was being glib, I'm very glad it's no longer the eyesore you first see when entering Dover.

I used to work on the petrol pumps of the old Hammonds garage when the A2 forecourt was first opened. You could have bought a Lotus or a BMW at the showroom where McDonald's now stands - but not on my wages!!!

whats the fuel prices like up there, and are they cheaper than the bp ones in town.

Brian yesterday the prices were...
BP in Townwall St 133.9
Tesco 132.9
Tesco always stays that little bit ahead although the difference used to be greater a while back. As you can see the prices have climbed upwards from 129.9 recently...presumably due to fluctuating market forces..

Good to see this derelict site being reopened after ten years as an eyesore.
Exactly the kind of development that Whitfield DOES need.
