I personally believe what Simon is doing is a great thing for local businesses big or small, a lot of us finalists are small or medium sized business which find it hard in today's climate to spread the word to others about ourselfs and to be a finalist in these awards helps us to promote ourselfs to others and gives us a great satisfaction to know that someone recognises all the hard work we put in.
Well done Simon look forward to tonight :)

Sorry for the delay, the day after has been just as busy as the day of the awards. Well done to all our winners, highly commended and all the finalist. I left the Town hall at about 11.40 and people were still celebrating.
As prevouisly mentioned we had our own photographer (Alan Langly) who took lots of snaps of the night as well as the press, so we will have those photo's up shortly.
I would just like to comment what a great venue the Town Hall was. The food was super, and Val the manager is excellent.
